Situated at the southern end of Seneca Lake in Watkins Glen, NY, the Finger Lakes Yacht Club is a relaxed, family-friendly club with a priority of having fun while appreciating the water. While we may be small, our members make up for it with enthusiasm. We have numerous social events each summer along with a full compliment of on-the-water activities that include both racing and cruising.

The Village Marina of Watkins Glen, our home port, is one of only three marinas on Seneca Lake that can accommodate sailboats, and it is the only marina on the lake with water depths that are deep enough to offer unencumbered access to vessels with deeper keels. In addition to its boating attributes, our home port is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops located in downtown Watkins Glen.

In addition to our physical proximity to numerous attractions, the Finger Lakes Yacht Club enjoys a close relationship with the Finger Lakes Chapter of America's Boating Club. Because of this relationship, FLYC members have access to the wide range of ABC educational offerings that are provided by nationally recognized instructors.
